resource conservation, environmental protection, and the construction

SouthField has received top grades from Governor Deval Patrick and state
officials for its innovative Smart Growth vision, its sound development and
transportation approaches, and its significant contributions to boost the
regional economy. The Massachusetts’ Office for Commonwealth Development
named LNR Property Corporation, the South Shore Tri-Town Development Corporation,
and the towns of Weymouth, Abington, and Rockland as recipients of a Smart
Growth award for environmentally-sensitive, master planned mixed-use communities.
